Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IG Market trading services, including our website, web platform, mobile app, MT4 trading account, and all related services. By opening an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be legally allowed to enter into binding contracts in your country of residence.
- We do not accept clients from the United States, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, or any country on EU/UN/OFAC sanctions lists.
- You confirm that funds you deposit are not derived from any illegal activity.
2. Account opening
To open an account you must complete our registration form and pass our KYC verification. We may refuse to open or maintain an account at our discretion.
3. Trading services
IG Market provides access to CFD trading on forex, indices, commodities, shares, ETFs and cryptocurrencies via the MetaTrader 4 platform. We act as your counterparty. All trades are executed on a best-effort basis under prevailing market conditions.
4. Deposits & withdrawals
- Minimum deposit: €250 (Standard), €10,000 (Premium), €50,000 (Pro).
- Withdrawals require completed KYC verification and balance verification.
- Withdrawals must be made to the same payment method used for deposit, where technically possible (same-source rule).
- Standard: 4-8 hours processing. Premium: under 2 hours. Pro: same-day wire transfers.
- Withdrawal fee: free above €100; €5 flat below €100.
5. Risks
CFD and forex trading carries a high risk of capital loss. You may lose more than your initial deposit in extreme market conditions, although negative balance protection limits your loss to your account balance. See our Risk Disclosure for full details.
6. Leverage & margin
We offer leverage up to 1:100 (Standard), 1:300 (Premium), 1:500 (Pro). Margin call at 80% of margin, automatic stop-out at 50%. You are responsible for monitoring your margin level.
7. Spreads, commissions & fees
Standard and Premium accounts use spread-only pricing (no commission). Pro account uses raw spreads + €3/lot commission per side. Overnight swap fees may apply on positions held past 22:00 GMT. See Accounts for full pricing.
8. Prohibited activities
You may not: abuse arbitrage strategies that exploit pricing errors; manipulate quotes or executions; coordinate trades with other accounts to circumvent risk limits; use stolen identity or funds; deposit funds you cannot prove the source of.
9. Account closure
You may close your account at any time by submitting a withdrawal of full balance plus a written request to support@brokerx.com. We may close your account at our discretion for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or regulatory reasons.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IG Market is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or trading opportunities. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by [Jurisdiction TBC] law. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in [City TBC].
12. Changes
We may amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
